It was agreed at the latest steering group meeting of Troon C oastal Rowing Club on 16 february that the annual year for the club will run from 1st March. This will enable us to hold the AGM in the early part of the year.
A new application membership form will be available from 1st March. Anyone interested in becoming a member will be made most welcome - contact can be made through the web site.
It was also agreed at the meeting that a second boat will built later this year with the finance now being in place.  Plans for premises to accommodate two boats are proceeding well.
A Duke of Edinburgh Awards Ceremony is being held at Ayr Racecourse on Wednesday 22 February. The boat will be on display outside the Princess Royal Suite from mid afternoon.  This will be a great opportunity for young people attending the Ceremony to view the boat close at hand and discuss possible membership.
