Our club attended the regatta in Greenock and were a credible fourth overall against stiff opposition. In the Andy race a mixed team in the Arran skiff with our Mike Downey in stroke won this race.

FOCCRS REGATTA 11TH MAY 2019
Our club attended the FOCCRS regatta in Largs and were the overall winners. We also won the The David Whinning trophy in our skiff with a mixed team from Arran,Royal West and Cumbrae.
Arran Coastal Rowing Club visit 14.4.19
Our club hosted an inter club event with ACRC members attending returning their invite last year.In cold blustery conditions 500m sprints were held in the Harbour with rows also around the red and green buoys. Perth to Wormit row 13.4.19
Ten members of our club took part in the relay row from Perth Sailing club to Wormit. Eight skiffs took part and although it was not a race Troon completed the 25 miles in first place.
River Ayr 4.4.19
Along with single scullers and canoes our club took part in a “Give it a Go” on the River Ayr. Students from Ayr Academy and The West of Scotland University took part in a very successful demonstration that this river is suitable for this type of craft.
Launch of “Lady Isle” 30th March 2019
Our club has spent the last 6 months building a Wemyss skiff and on the 30th March we held a naming ceremony and and launch at the Troon Yacht Haven slipway.
Marr Voyager refurbish Jan 2019
Our first skiff has had a refurbishment carried over the winter months and returned to service on the 17th March 2019.New footplates were designed and fitted in preparation for the Skiffie Worlds in July this year.
River Ayr row 7.3.19
With the University of The West of Scotland considering introducing Water Sports on the River Ayr our club was invited to take part in a trial row.Apart from a muddy launch the row was a success.While taking part we were informed we were the first wooden boat on the River for fifty years.

Training team rowed out and back to Lady Isle and the PM team rowed to L appock Rock and back.This was the first two long rows of the year in perfect weather conditions.
